UNIDO meets for sustainable energy for all initiative in New York
On 20 September, the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon unveiled his new energy access initiative and a high level group to implement it. The launch took place at the annual Private Sector Forum, organized by the UN Global Compact, in New York During the UN General Assembly.
The year 2012 has been designated by the UN General Assembly as the International Year of Sustainable Energy for All.
