APPLICATION FOR DONATION
International ECPD Institute for Sustainable Development, Urban Planning and Environmental Studies has been established in autumn 2009. It is a part of UN University for Peace, which founded European Centre for Peace and Development (ECPD).
In 2013, through various activities, we were trying to position ourselves in Slovenia and Europe as a whole. Therefore we actively engage in preparing scientific and academic round tables, symposia and seminars in the field of sustainable development; being an organizer, as well as a partner and co-organizer. Amongst others, our field of activity is based on the impact of climate changes on people's health.
The Institute was very active in co-organizing events such as the Second Africa Day and a Round Table on Quantum Medicine.
Institute's engagements are connected with Slovenian discourse on current developmental issues. The Institute supports all solutions, which will follow »green-sustainable basis«. The global crisis is also an opportunity for preparing the Slovenian innovative sustainable-developmental environmental breakthrough in the framework of structural reforms. In practice, this means new environmental technologies, »green« entrepreneurship, advocating sustainable production and consumption as well as sustainable agriculture, sustainable tourism and transport; and also new, environmentally friendly and energy saving construction of buildings.
A special attention in 2014 is given to renewable resources of energy, quantum medicine, food technology and food safety.
The Institute is ready to prepare innovative elaborates and professional scientific studies on different fields of sustainable development for a reasonable price.
